- Marcella R. (nee Kitto) Schumacher of Flandreau, S.D., died Jan. 31 at Avera McKennan Hospice in Sioux Falls, S.D. She was 82. Born Jan. 20, 1925, in Flandreau, S.D. She married Richard Schumacher on July 8, 1947, in Henderson, Ky. Mrs. Schumacher was preceded in death by her brothers, Sam and William, and a sister, Cora F. In addition to her husband, survivors include sons Richard G. Jr. (Patricia) of Evanston, and William and Bruce, both of Flandreau, S.D.; daughters Bonnie (Marco) Stegich of Skokie and Marcie A. (John) Redday of Flandreau; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
