- Two deputy sheriffs raided a "blind pig" outside the city limits, corner of Greenleaf St. and Darrow avenue. The proprietors are Hill Beach of 331 Dempster St. and Michael Schmidt of 1803 Greenleaf St. Arrested were Adolph Lauf, 1814 Washington St.; John Lepke, 1146 Wesley Ave.; Ed Larsen, 1602 Dempster; Michael La Hear, 734 Wesley Ave.; John Kloepfer, 1610 Washington; John Kauch, 734 Wesley Ave.; Martin Lucas, 1625 Washington St.; Stanley Dembrowick, 2118 Jackson Ave.; William Forest, 2014 West Railroad Ave.; Joe Wilbrowski, 1146 Wesley Ave.
