Judge Orrin N. Carter, 619 University place, umpire of the arbitration board to adjust the differences between the street railway companies and their employes [sic.], says it will be impossible for him to come to Chicago before the middle of next week. The October term of the state supreme court may last until the end of the month. Attorneys Wallace Heckman and David C. Le Bosky, arbitrators for the elevated railway companies and employes [sic.], will hold a third meeting Thursday in the office of Mr. Heckman.
