- Carlton B. Prouty, real estate dealer, married Miss Mary Busscher, a woman associated with him in business, at LaPorte, Indiana. The wedding took place four days after his first wife, Mrs. Carry B. Prouty, was granted a divorce on grounds of desertion. Prouty's first wedding took place March 25, 1886, and was dissolved August 9, 1910. Following the divorce Mrs. Carry Prouty went to live with a sister in Beverly Hills, Illinois. The present Mrs. Prouty lived with her mother at 671 Willow St.
