- Earth Week at Joseph Sears School features a waste-free lunch program using recyclable plates and utensils. Comments by students Caroline Ellerman, Olivia Pressman, Emma Cortina, Elsa Holling, Kate Brown, Libby Musolino, Caroline Swanson, and lunch-room supervisor, David Hawk Superintendent Kelly Kalinich praised Boy Scout and Sears alumnus Andrew Katcha, and parents Katie Nahrwold and Kate Denny all of whom contributed to the project. Photograph Sears School second-grader Sophie Shelton and kindergartner Landon Douthit; Fourth-grader Ryan Haggerty and third-grader Danny Parks.
