- Famous painting "The Last Supper" by artist, William Homer Leavitt, will be on exhibit at the First Methodist Church of Evanston the week of November 2nd. The patrons will be President A. W. Harris, William Deering, John C. Shafffer and George M. Sargent. The patronesses will be Mesdames Frank Dyche, George B. Reynolds, Timothy Prescott Frost, James A. Patten, James Townsend, John Mahin, Alice Gove, J. H. B. Howell, J. J. Collins, Carrol Shaffer, M. C. Bragdon, Carl Williams, James Gascoigne, Frank Ewald, William A. Locy, William A. Dyche, W. W. Stevens, W. C. Rigley, J. H. Lord, O. E. Barber, M. M. Gridley, E. R. Douk, George Foster, C. M. Learned, Howard I. Pettis and Miss Skinner. An admission fee of 50 cents will be charged. Included is a letter signed E. S. Wallace, nephew of the noted Lew Wallace praising the painting.
