- Henry A. Pearsons, who had been on the board of directors of the City National Bank since the bank was organized over twelve years ago, has resigned. The bank has added as new directors, Chas. E. Ware, manager of the Evanston Fireproof Warehouse Co., Thomas H. Eddy, who is Chair of the Contagious Disease Hospital Association and Head of the Tariff Department of Marshall Field's Wholesale Store, and W. W. Buchanan of the firm of Baker, Vawter Company. Pearons also retired form the Pearsons-Taft Land Credit Co. He and J. F. Ward, president of the City National Bank, gives lectures to school children on the Civil War. The bank directors re-elected the other old officers. They are: Joseph F. Ward, president; William S. Mason, vice-president; Charles N. Stevens, cashier; Hurd Comstock, assistant cashier. The board of directors are: Frank H. Armstrong, Thomas Bates, David R. Forgan, William S. Mason, Joseph E. Paden, James A. Patten, Joseph F. Ward, Charles E. Ware, Thomas H. Eddy, W. W. Buchanan.
