Barry, Gloria (née Smith) (Died)

Barry, Gloria (nee Smith), 88, of Glenview, passed away September 2, 2011. Wife of the late John Edward Barry; mother of Jo Mortland, Clifford, Alyce, Lee Francis, and Timothy Barry; grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 10. Mrs. Barry was a Veteran of WWII serving as a Wave in the Navy. She was an active member of DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance), a volunteer at the Chicago Botanic Gardens and the church organist at the Glenview New Church for many years. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:30pm at the Glenview New Church, 74 Park Dr., Glenview. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to DBSA, 730 N.
