Mr. F. M. Hotine returned from the east Monday.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klanke Sunday evening.
Mrs. W. G. Walling and children are spending a few months in the south.
Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Smith have gone south for the remainder of the winter.
Mrs. Fred Truby was the guest of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Lange, Monday.
Mrs. Yondell and daughter of Kentucky are visiting at the home of Mrs. James Fentress.
Miss Geraldine Fitzgerald left Wednesday for a week's visit with friends at Argyle.
Mr. E. E. Vogler is ill.
Mrs. Wm. McDonald of Argyle visited Miss Geraldine Fitzgerald the first of the week.
Mr. Beck of Evanston is building a new home on Asbury avenue which he expects to occupy about May 1.
The funeral of Mr. M. Scheidler, an old and respected citizen of Glencoe, was held at the Sacred Heart church Monday morning at 10 o'clock with burial at Northfield.
A meeting of the property owners of Asbury avenue and Merrill street was held at the home of Dr. W. L. Ballinger, the object of the meeting being to organize an improvement association to beautify that part of Hubbard Woods.
