- A new street car line is practically assured for Evanston. The village has been working with Emil Schmidt, president of the County Traction Company and Superintendent Gilbert of County Tractin. W. S. Williams, of the real estate agency, Wightman and Co. collected over 600 signatures on a petition asking Evanston to approve the trolly line. There will likely be no action taken for a month.
