- Harry Colson is running against incumbent J. D. Couffer for President of the Board in Evanston. Couffer has criticized Colson for commenting that "If the City positions are a good thing they should be passed around". LSN concurs with Couffer in believing that city officials should transact business in a credible manner and provide maximum gooe for the money invested by constituents. LSN criticizes Colson's claim as being selfish.
