Open Gym
The Harper gym will be open to Harper students and their families on Mondays from 6:30-8 p.m. Open Gym will be supervised by a District 39 physical education teacher, however parents are required to stay with their children. Open Gym will be held starting in Monday and 30 and continue every Monday until Spring Break.
Scientist talk
Scientist-in-residence Judy McKee will be giving “Matter Lessons” to the first grade school throughout the month of January. Each class will have three lessons on matter.
Visit to museum
The fourth grade students are going to the SciTech Museum in Aurora on Monday and Tuesday to participate in weather and electricity labs.
PTO Meeting
The first PTO meeting of 2012 will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Harper Auditorium. Superintendent Lechner will be giving a brief presentation of what is going on in District 39. All parents are encouraged to attend this important and informative discussion.
