The Evanston Woman's Club is confident that President Wilson will retain Miss Julia C. Lathrop of Chicago as Chief of the Children's Bureau in Washington. Mrs. William A. Lacy of the Club said although it supports Lathrop, it would not join the campaign. Mrs. Catharine Waugh McCullough concurs with Mrs. Lacy. Lathrop's opponent, Mrs. Robert Wicklisse, of Louisiana is not endorsed by her state.
