Mr. and Mrs. James B. Hoffman and daughter visited Mrs. Hazel Meyers of Austin Sunday, April 13.

The dance given by the Gross Point [damaged] B. Club at the village hall Saturday evening, April 12, proved quite a success.

Mr. Max Engels of North Branch Road returned from Florida last week after spending several months in the north.

Mrs. Helen Gross and Mrs. William [damaged] and their sister, Mary Hein, went to Turkey Creek, Indiana, last week to attend the funeral of Mr. Franz.

Mrs. Frank M. Mueller, Miss Mary Huerter and Mrs. C. H. Rush visited [damaged] the home of Mrs. Fred Proctor of 3602 North Hermitage avenue, Chicago, Illinois, Wednesday.

The Ladies' Card Club was entertained by Mrs. John Bell Thursday at euchre. The winners were Mrs. Helen Sesterhein, first prize; Mrs. Paul Bleser, second prize; Mrs. Cecelia Wagner, third prize.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoth of Fifteenth [15th] street entertained the Saturday evening club at euchre Saturday, April 12. Winners were as follows: Gents, Mr. Joseph Nilles, first prize; Mr. John Phillips, second prize. Ladies, Mrs. George Kreusch, first prize; Mrs. N. J. Miller, second prize. Refreshments were served.
