Editorial comments on issues of the interest.

Editor complains that the legislative vice commission wasted considerable time investigating deplorable conditions in certain Chicago maternity hospitals in which young girls are forced to give up their babies for undocumented adoptions. Editor says Mr. Howard Moore of the Juvenile Protective agency of Chicago has already investigated the problem and produced a report.

Editor decries slumming parties in which otherwise respectable people frequent cafes, theaters and hotels seeking information about lewd or suggestive entertainments.

The prompt application of a pulmotor device would have been beneficial in a number of accidents in Evanston and towns to the north. Editor encourages towns to obtain the equipment.

Editor supports the establishment of a board of censorship for moving pictures being planned for Chicago to be made up of members of the educated public.

Mentions the example a New York philanthropist who plans to give land valued at $3,000,000 to be used as public playgrounds for the poor.

Cooperative delivery systems have been a success in communities in which the trial has been made.
