- Frances Coleman Powell, age 102, died February 24th at home. She was born September 5, 1909 in Evanston. She was preceded in death by sisters, Kathryn Coleman and Dorothy Thorman, Charles Coleman, and her twin brother, Harold Coleman. In 1933 she married Donald Powell of Groveport, Ohio. In 1937 they moved to Kenilworth where she lived continuously for 75 years. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Fowler of Winnetka (William dec.), Donna Hecker (Craig) of Boca Grande, Fl., and Diana Blom (Peter dec.) of Wilmette. She has 6 grandchildren, Stacey Adams (John) of Atlanta, Todd Fowler (Justine) of Northfield, Kerry Stinchcomb (Peter) of Northbrook, Whitney Vogt of Chicago, Skip Fowler (Jennifer) of Atlanta, and Ashleigh Mitchell ((Bart) of Bend, Oregon. She has 13 great grand children.
