- "State of Wonder," by Ann Patchett, is the library's choice for its One Book Everybody Reads program. The author will be discussing the book on May 20 at Wilmette Junior High School Auditorium, 620 Locust Road. Program "Seekers of the Refuge: The Amazon's Hidden Peoples," is presented in connection with One Book, Everybody Reads, by Alaka Wali, curator of the Museum of Natural History April 17. Book discussions at the library will also be held on April 23 and May 8. "Drug Discovery: How and Why," by Brian Spear, retired director at Abbott Laboratories will be presented April 30. "Explore the Amazon" is a trip to the Field Museum's new exhibit May 9. The fee for transportation, lunch and tour is $25. "Cross cultural Asoption--Exploring the issues" presented by Judy Stigger of the Cradle May 16.
