- Evanston police targeted speeders. The police arrested an under-age driver, 16 year-old F. H. Ely, of Kenilworth. He had been speeding. A. C. McCord, of People's Gas Building in Chicago, paid a fine of $1 for speeding on Chicago Ave. H. B. Eigelberner of Oak Park entered a plea of not guilty to charges of speeding on Ridge Ave.
