W o m e n Golfers A t t e n d Flower Show to Inaugurate Holiday Season Forty-eight tables set for holiday meals and entertaining will be featured at the Holiday Splendor flower show planned by the Garden Club of Illinois to inaugurate the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. The show and sale of exhibits will take place Nov. 1, 2, and 3 in the Red Lacquer Room of the Palmer House, State and Monroe Sts., Chicago. The hours of the show will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. the first two days and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. the last day. Exhibits will include decorated Christmas trees with wrapped packages, inside and outside door decorations, gift wrappings, and mantle designs. Among planners are Mrs. George Dahlin of Glencoe, who is in charge of sale items. Season's Last Luncheon Monthly and seasonal prizes were awarded by the Wilmette Women's Golf Associaton at a closing luncheon Sept. 29.
