New Trier West Harriers Divide New Trier West's varsity crosscountry team split two meets last week, beating Niles North 27-32 and losing to Glenbrook North 25-31. The winner in both meets was West's Dave McKirnan. His time against Niles was 10:36 and against Glenbrook it was 11:15 in what coach Jerry Kates called "a long course." Other top runners for the Cowboys were Andy Hunter, Dick Lang, Mike Shluss, and Josh Siskin. The sophomore harriers did a little better. They beat both Niles West 27-32 and Glenbrook North 1547.
