Anna Groff-Bryant has written an overview of the development of the science of voice. This new science has led to the medical field of science of the throat. The new field includes voice therapeutics and the invention of the laryngoscope. The discoveries have led to a new school of vocal education, treatment of disease as well as stuttering.
