Dr. Edward Everett Hyde of 721 Elmwood avenue, Wilmette, for eight years assistant editor of the Journal of the American Medical association, died Friday in the Presbyterian hospital in Chicago. He had been in poor health for several weeks, suffering from a throat affliction. He was only 38 years old. Few young professional men had attained the prominence in the few years in the medical profession that Dr. Hyde had. He was a native of Galesburg, where he was graduated from Knox college about fifteen years ago. He then attended and was graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Chicago. He leaves his wife and two children. Funeral services were conducted in the family home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
