Mrs. Sallie McMahon of San Francisco, Cal., a North Shore resident for 26 years, died Jan. 3 in California. From 1941 to 1967 Mrs. McMahon lived in Wilmette, Glenview, and Evanston. She taught voice and was a choral conductor, and a professional singer. She belonged to the North Shore Musicians Club, the Wilmette Woman's Club, and the First Church of Christ Scientist in Wilmette. Wife of the late James B. McMahon, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Mrs. Elizabeth Layman, and Mrs. Jack Mason, all of California; a sister, Mrs. Gregg C. Waddell Sr. of Houston, Tex.; and four grandchildren. Services were held Jan., 6 in San Francisco.
