December 3, 1926 8th Grade St. Francis 5th Grade Howard 5B Won by Forfeit Evanston Champs .S wamp New Trier Grid Entry The New Trier football team suffered defeat at the hands of the fast Evanston High eleven on Thanksgiving day before the largest crowd of the prep season, to the tune of 32-0. The game was especially featured by the brilliant work of Holland and Levison, who alternated as quarterback for Evanston and bv the fact that it was played on a muddy field. The New Trier team put up a splendid fight, nevertheless, even more so than is indicated hy the score, but were simply overwhelmed by the speed and stellar playing of the Evanston eleven.
