W. S. Fuller a resident of La Grange for 15 ye~rs is making an active campaign to wi~ the Republican nomination to fill a vacancy on the Sanitary board's roster. They have one resident on the ·Board of Review, five on the Courtty board but none on the Sanitary board. Yet they pay a large share of the taxes and have pressing sanitary problems which need solving. This situation led me to make the race." Boya Tra Rouacl World via Moviea The world cruise in films given by A. R. Dunham of Glencoe, at the Wilmette Parish Methodist Episcopal church Wednesday night for the Girl and Boy Scouts· of Wilmette, was a · real treat. The slides of the complete trip were given first, followed by movies of the same scenes. A group of Irish songs wa·$ sung by C. E. Lutton, accompanied on the piano by Miss Mariam Baldwin. The scene started with the goodbyes at New York harbor, through the Panama canal, Hawaii, Japan, Malay archipelago, India, Arabia, Egypt, including King Tut's tomb, all important Mediterranean ports, Gibraltar, west and north Europe, then back to New York. Mr. Dunham related his personal experiences of the trip durin~ the slides from shaking hands with Mussotini and meeting the King of Siam to rickashaw touring in China in a most interesting manner. . A short world cruise by the boys' old friend Felix seemed to make their evening's entertainment complete.
