Gage the ~ld Gage family homestead at the northwest corner of Sheridan road and Chestnut street, and will open it as a cafe to be called "Ye Old Style Inn." The place was until recently the Lake Shore Terrace. The present lease is from September 1. The old structure was built in 1873 by Henry H. Gage. The Gage family owned a large part of what is now known as No Man's Land between Wilmette and Kenilworth. Rev. Vere V. Lqper The Rev. V~re · V. Loper, recently called to the ministry of, the First Congregational church, will bring Mrs. Loper and their children to Wilmette next week and will preach his inaugural sermon here Sunday, September 9.
