No life guard has been stationed at the beach since that time, and the beach committee of the Kenilworth club issued out a warning to parents this week, requesting them to safeguard their children who have been in the habit of bathing under the life guard's protection. The official closing of the beach does not mean, however, that bathing must cease there, as the dressing rooms will remain open for use as long as good weather continues.
