Illinois-74-New pavement, is open from Freeport to Orangevitte. From Orang~ville to Oneco is 1~ mile of earth and from ~here to the state line is pavement. INDIANA US-30--The new pavement is now open between Hanna and Indiana-29 US-30 is now all paved across Indiana except ab()ut 100 feet at the Erie railroad in Shererville where a 600-foot run-around is necessary. US-24-Three more miles of pavement have been opened east of Monticello and traffic is now using 12 miles of new pavement at this point. US-27-Detour at 2 miles south of Richmond because of construction for 5% miles. Slow down between Richmond and Chester~ workmen repairing shoulders. Detour from 1% miles south of Bt:yant to ~ mile north of Bryant because of construction for 5 miles . Detour ~ mile west of Berne to 1 mile south of Monroe because of construction for 5 miles. Detour from 1 mile south of Decatur to Decatur because of construction for 1% miles. Detour from 7 miles north of Decatur to Fort Wayne because of construction for 17 miles. Detour from south city limits of Waterloo to Pleasant Lake because of construction for 15 miles. The 6-mile detour between Winchester and Lynn has been removed and new pavement is now itt use.
