In 1927 this was one of the plays chosen from the state of Illinois to be sent to the national judges of the Drama league Longman Green play contest. Recently it has been included in an anthology, "Plays for Our American Holidays," published by Dodd Meade and company. "The Daughter of Her Mother" deals with th~ familiar theme of the younger generatwn and presents a possible solution of the much discussed problem. Nunery School Auxiliary Gamma Phi Beta of to Hear Reaclin1 of Playa Northwestern Will · Stage V odvil Show Miss Hope Summers, of Evanston, is production manager of the vodvil show which members of the alumnae chapter and Northwestern university chapter of Gamma Phi Beta will stage Satur:day, January 19, at the Evanston Woman's club. The proceeds from the show will go to the sorority's camp for underprivileged children. The camp is located near Denver, Col. Such talent as the James brothers and Jimmie O'Keefe, well known entertainers, have been engaged to add to the novelty of the performance. Miss Lillian Woodworth, of Chicago, is business manager of the show. Miss Helen Northrop, of Evanston, is in charge of the ticket sale. Miss Dorothy Steiner, of Chicago, is rehearsing the dancinif choruses, and will also give ~ ballet number herself. Norma Craven Freeman, of Evanston, is directing the "Harmony girls." .
