I District Officers Help Evanston Elks Initiate District officers of the Elks, headed by District Deputy Jack Eaton, were guests Vvednesday evening at the initiation meeting of the Evanston lodge. Twenty-five men were initiated at the ceremony conducted by the local officers: William Lister, exalted ruler; Edward Harper Payne, esteemed leading knight; Thomas Airth, esteemed loyal knight; Frank N. U. In "The Dummy" she will carrv the role of a 12-yearold girl. E. J. Felke of Wilmette, who has played several juvenile roles for the guild will play opposite Miss Richards in the role of Barney. To support the juveniles·, about whom the action of the play revolves, there has been selected a group of well-known north shore actors and actresses. "The Dummy" one time produced professionally u~der the title of "Kidnaped," was written by Harv:ey O'Higgins and Harriet Ford. It mmgles suspense and comedy ·with something of pathos and melodrama, ~nd the guild forecasts the expectatiOn that it will be vne of the popular plays of its season.
