Lardner of Glencoe, is a Tenderfoot Scout in Troop 22 of the Union church . Glencoe. He joined the troop in April of this year and went to work to pass his Second Class test which includes First Aid . This training he recei ved under Louis Birdsall, his patrol leader. On July 18 while on vacation at Green Lake, Wis., Billy had a chan cr to use his first aid training. A littk girl, Virginja Dean, 2 ye~rs of age, fe ll off the pier. She was dtscovered later bv her father and when taken from tlw ~ater was unconscious. A group of people gathered but, though th ey worked frantically, could not bring th l' child to consciousness.
