November 2'J, 1929 75 New Trier Boys to Attend Suburban His Last Game Council Conference .___________, I WILMETTE LIFE r 15 New Trier school plans to send about seventy-five boys to the annual conference of the Suburban League Boys' council at Morton High school in Cicero, December 14. There will be two representatives from each of the twenty-six boys' advisor rooms and it is expected that a number of other New Trier boys will attend. The Suburban League Boys' council was formed as a result of a conference held at New Trier last fall. Alan Hoagland of \Vin.netka was the first president of the council. The chief aim of the council is to provide means of contact. between the student bodies of the six Suburban league schoolsNew Trier, Morton, Evanston, Deerfield, Proviso and Oak Park-on otht!r than a competitive basis. The bitt~r rivalry on the football field and the basketball court are forgotten in the friendly contacts that the council es-· tablishes. The first annual get-together of the boys of the six schools was held c.t Deerfield last spring, and was attended by more than three hundred boys. An even larger number are expected to attend the conference at Morton High school on December 14.
