Gates gymnasium, for whic.}l the girl students and alumnae of the school have saved and planned during the last eight years. The room is spacious, comfortable, and lavishly furnished, and is said to be the finest center of soci~l activities for girls in any Chicago or suburban high school. The floor of the room is carpeted and the furnishings include overstuffed lounges an.<J chairs, a large reading table, a desk, an old English dresser, book shelves, benches, lamps, mirrors, attractive curtains, and other things which give the room a homelike atmosphere.
