It was a most interesting show throughout though perhaps not so large as most of the prcc~ding yc::~rs. It is a great educational stimulu s to take part in a show of this sort WILMETTE whether a ribbon is won or not and ·each year there is unbounded enthusia sm to compete. The . show was laid on the estate of Mrs. Rockefeller McCormick as formerly, the grounds and gardens of which were open to the public. One of the stri king features of this estate is the famous water stairway where the water , flows away from a small fount~in d o\\'n a shell shaped stairway joining another similar fountain on down another stair way, and again joining still a third fountain and on dO\\'n until th e water flows into the large bathing pool below.
