The general impression was one of great pleasure. The audience leaves Doctor Anspacher always with a feeling of exhitiration. His dramatic ability alone not only entertains but makes his illustrations vivid and clear. He uses this means constantly, bringing bits of scenes from the dramas discussed, to emphasize points he wishes to impress. The audience felt on Tuesday last the modern drama had made definite strides forward. The characters, and their innermost emotions are the important feature. No longer does the drama deal with theatrical externals but with internal psychology and character development and discernment. On December 10, the club will present ] udge Marcus A.
