Exploration, worth-while adventure, outdoor activity-the things our honorary Scouts represent-have never been brought to our boys in so vivid a manner as in the memorable series of True Adventures. lts stories are more than good reading. They have that direction, that subtle pointing, that make them character building material of the first order. It provides ,a means of national recognition of boy achievement, and thereby provides a spur to local interest. It gives Scouting information. Several departments provide a steady stream of hints, ne,vs, notes, suggestions for activities on Scouting. It offers frequent material on nature lore, camping, outdoor activity, inspiring and practical. It promotes through the \Vorl_d Brotherhood, and is the only means the Bov Scouts of America has set up to constantly promote the Scouts' appreciation that he is a brother to every other Scout. Bovs' Life adds constantlY to the romanC'e of Scouting in publishing undertakings of Scouts, such as the Sea Scout trip to the Arctic, the Hiking in Europe and other features.
