Capt. Rut Walter, the center, was an all-around star at Kokomo, Ind., high school. Besides bein· g captain of the Wildcats cage team he is also captain of the track team, a sport in which he holds both the Western conference and National Intercollegiate championships. Bob Lockhart and Bob McCarne, the two sophomore guards, are both Hoosien, the former coming from Martinsville and the latter from Logansport. Both have been playing regular since tht! start of the season.
