Kline on Program The morning program at the next all day club meeting at the Woman's club of Wilmette has been arranged by the child and home department with particular interest to mothers. The department is presenting two speakers of note Wednesday, February 12, at its ten-thirty o'clock session, Dr. ]. M. Fitzgerald of Chicago and ~Irs. Anne Roger. The former will discuss "Analysis of Human Talents." the latter, "Problems in Personality." Dr. Fitzgerald is a well known national authority on child training and vocational guidance, and it has been said by many that Dr. Fitzgerald knew men better than men knew themselves. During his many years as a vocational director he has guided more than thirty thousand men, women and children in the fundamental phases of life and ·work. His talk wi11 have special significance to ~very one interested in children and their future. It is expected that one of the club members, will. in demonstration. permit Dr. Fitzgerald to analyze her c_haracter. The second speaker of the morning i.; dean of the Starrett School for girts. She won the national essay contest in competition with seventy thousanrl persons, on "Teaching Children Safety on the Highways." Mrs. Roger is a former chairman of the Americanization department of the federated women's clubs of Colorado. Members of the cluh are urged "to come early and hear the talks which are well worth while." Luncheon will be served at the customary hour before the afternoon session convenes at 2. The program for \Vednesday afternoon is to be given hy two persons ,,·ell known to Wilmette, and. the north shore, Miss Dorothy Rae, soprano and R. E. Pattison Kline. At the conclusion of the selections Miss Rae will sing-, Mr. Kline will give an address entitled "Abraham Lincoln, the Commoner Aristocrat." Woman's Catholic · Club Celebrating Valentine's with Afternoon of Friendship An ' 1Afternoon of Friendship" is the title of the program which has b~en arranged by Mrs. Frank Thale for the next meeting of the fine arts department ·of the Woman's Catholic club which takes place on the afternoon of St. Valentine's day, February 14, at 2 o'clock at the Wilmette Woman's club. Mrs. P. ]. Joyc.e will open the pro~ gram with a paper ,.Famous Friends in Literature." This will be followed bv " walking rehearsal of a one act playet "Club Life in Friendship Village."
