John Hicks, 241 Melrose avenue, Kenilworth, is entertaining her ~uncheon club today at her home. FATHER DIES Mr. and Mrs. Warren Dyon o.f 122<) Maple a venue, and Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Stallwood of Evanston, were called to St. Anne, Ill., last Saturday on account cf the death of Mr. Dyon's father of ·~ paralytic stroke. He was 71 years of age. Miss D')rothv Hall, 500 Central avenue, was at New Trier High school February 18, interviewing girls interested in Sullins college in Bristol, Va., c:nd Arlington hall at Washington, D. C. Miss Hall attended Sullins colkge and has been a member of the faculty of Arlington hall for the past year. Worthen to Address Civic Luncheon Club February 28 ]. E. Worthen, president of the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce, will address the Wilmette Civic Luncheon club, at its noon meeting at thr University club, Friday, February 20. Mr. \Vorthen will discuss the topic "Wilmette's Problems of Today and Tomorrow." Among the points to be taken up by Mr. Worthen will be grade separation and the part Wilmette may play i11 the campaign now being conducted to obtain it; the possibility of a village manager system for the village and the proposed prohibition of of any further building of one story stores in the business district of the village.
