Martin, Vernon P. (Died)

Vernon P. Martin, 62, of Skokie, died Oct. 18 in St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Martin was vice-president of Martin Auto Parts, 3349 Ashland Av. He had been associated with the company for 40 years. He was a member of the Evanston Golf Club, and Director of Guardian Savings and Loan Association. He is survived by his widow, Eleanor, four children; Donald, Thomas, Mrs. Joseph DiTomaso, and Mrs. Joseph Toland, both of San Diego, Calif., three grandchildren, one brother and three sisters. Funeral services were held Oct. 21 at Fitzgerald and Franklin Funeral Home and St. Joan of Arc Church; burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
