Steffens, Margaret (Died)

Mrs. Margaret Steffens, 82, of 1525 Wilmette Av., Wilmette, died Mar. 4 at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Steffens served as past president of St. Joseph Alter and Rosary society. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Steffens and sister of the late Roman Elmer, Edward, and Mary Engels and Cecelia Bruning. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Estelle Hebson and Miss Marguerite Steffens; a son, Leon P. (Bud); four sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Dyrssen, Mrs. Josephine Mowatt, Mrs. Antonette Corrigan, and Mrs. Clarissa Ludwig; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass was said Mar. 6 in St. Joseph's Church. Burial was in the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery, Techny.
