The higb honors of the evening went to Hoffmann Florists' teams who have the distinction of being the first or- ganization to win permanent posses- sion of the year-round victory trophy awarded annually to the organization winning the bighest nuniber of points during the entire year. This trophy had to be won three times consecutive- Iy before permanent possession .could be attained and, althougb it bas been pas sed around f rom organization te orgallization, the Hoffmann teams are the first to attach it permanently dur- .ing tbe eigbt years thé Playground and Recreation board bas been conducting competitive atbletics. iii addition to the permanent victory trophy, the Hoffmanns received another trophy to be retained one year and competed for next year. The Brownies girls' teain won. the girls' year-round trophy but althougb they bave -won it the basketbali season, an AIn-Star basketball gante was played at How- ard gymnnasim last Monday evening.
