- The 2022 Memorial Day parade was a Unity March to remember and honor Wilmette residents who died in service to our country, and to commemorate Wilmette's 150th anniversary. The march began at St. Joseph's Church and ended at the Wilmette Memorial on the Village Hall lawn. Michael S. Rogers, a U.S. Navy four-star admiral and National Security Agency director who was born and raised in Wilmette, spoke at the ceremony at the conclusion of the unity march.
