- John M. Bireley, 95, of 1606 Hinman Avenue, in Evanston died February 11 in Lake Shore Nursing Center, Chicago. He was born in Wabash, Indiana. Mr. Bireley is survived by his wife, Marian; two daughters, Katharine Samuels of Woodside, California, and Sister M. Barbara of Detroit, Michigan; two sons, John of Wilmette and the Rev. Robert of Loyola University; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines
