He was the husband for 53 years to Patricia (nee Clesen); father of Susan (Jeff) Gille, Jean (Steve) Kotlinski, Carolyn (Chris) Carlson, Sharon (Ed) Latek and Jennifer (Rico) Stringer; grandfather of Jonathon and Tara Gille, Craig and Corey Kotlinski, Patrick, Megan, Shannon, Caitlin and Erin Carlson, Dori, Chet and Jayne Latek, and Pierson, Addie and Maylia Stringer; brother-in-law of Gerry (Mary Jo) Clesen; and brother of William (Jo Ann) May.
