Mrs. Bertha B. Williamson of Wilmette was instantly killed last Thursday when a Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific train speeding through Glenview struck her automobile. According to the statement of witnesses Mrs. Williamson apparently saw the approaching train and attempted to stop, but her car skidded. Her body, in the wrecked sedan, was carried half a mile before the train came to a stop. Mrs. Williamson was a bookkeeper for the Swain-Nelson nursery in Glenview.
