Funeral services for William Edward Hudson, retired grain merchant, were held at his residence, 509 Forest avenue, Wilmette, on Monday afternoon. Mr. Hudson,who was 75 years old, died on Saturday morning at the Evanston hospital after an illness of three weeks. A member of the Chicago board of trade since 1895, he retired several years ago as president of the Bartlett Frazier company with which he had been associated for 30 years. A resident of the village for 27 years, his memberships included the Shawnee and Westmoreland Country clubs. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Hermie Harrell Hudson; a daughter, Mrs. Earl P. Shnable of Milwaukee; and a step-daughter, Mrs. George Warren Barnes, III of Oklahoma City.
