Mrs. Percy Skillen was hostess to a spring party at her home, 714 Ashland avenue. Mrs. Skillen was assisted by her mother, Mrs. E. J. Skillen and her sister, Mrs. Harvey Skillen of Chicago. Other guests from Chicago were Mesdames Gilbert Duncan, William Shannon, Charles Shipcrest of Oak Park and Miss Rose Lynch.

Madame Eda Goedecke has arranged a recital in Brown's Hall for twenty-six students between ages of eight and thirteen. Little Miss Evelyn Humphry and Edwin Catts will perform.

Miss Jessie Cain and Miss Helen Hunt entertained their sisters in Kappa Kappa Ki at dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick F. Cain, 907 Central avenue, Monday evening.

Miss Jessie Cain entertained in honor os Miss Marguerite Cunnyer on Saturday.

Mrs. H. B. Mulford of 835 Elmwood avenue entertained in honor of Mrs. W. F. Neferve of Fray, Pa.

Congregational church Sunday School exhibition wa held last week. Miss Bertha Wheelock is a teacher of the primary classes and Mrs. Morton L. P atterson of the junor departments.

Mrs. Norman Betts entertained Mrs. George Boggs and Mrs. William Lake and two daughters from Englewood at a luncheon on Friday

Miss Frances Bragdon gave a party in her home in Evanston.

Mrs. Frederic Bowes on Greenwood avenue entertained friends at luncheon and bridge on Tuesday.

Miss Dorothy Rae and Miss Ernau Blythe Smith will give a joint recital June 2 at the Country Club. Accompanist is Madame Sturkow Rider

Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Mahan, 718 Elmwood avenue, will entertain friends at a dinner-dance tomorrow evening at their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Marshal R. Knox, 1617 Lake avenue, entertained relatives from Chicago for Sunday dinner.

Mrs. W. D. Collyer, 524 Hill street, will entertain friends at "Lillies" this afternoon.

Mrs. Florence E. Hopkins, 116 Ninth street, entertained twelve ladies from Chicago at luncheon on Saturday and a wild flower gathering expedition.

Mrs. W. P. Hammond, 1047 Linden avenue was hostess at luncheon in honor of several ladies from Rogers Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. P. A. Myers entertained friends at bridge at her home 627 Lake avenue.

Mrs. August Wilhelm, 435 [unclear] Tenth street, gave a farewell party Saturday to 16 friends who will be away for the summer.

Mrs. Harry G. Wilson, 925 Forest avenue, had a party for her granddaughter, Katherine Calhoun of Glencoe on Saturday.

Mrs. W. R. Mahan, 718 Elmwood avenue, will have a birthday party for her daughter, Helen Mahan, in honor of her third birthday.

Miss Janet Jones, 522 Washington avenue, will give a linen shower for Miss Gertrude Webber.

Miss Edith Corette, 1200 Central avenue, entertained friends from Moody Institute.
