Mrs. C. [G. ?] W. Culbertson, 1924 [unclear] Greenleaf avenue, has been quite ill for the past week.
Mrs. Fred. G. White, [unclear] Central avenue, is in New York on an extended business trip.
Mr. Herbert Graves, 105 Sixth street, is convalescing from an injury [unclear] last week.
Mrs. E. P. Fatch, 611 Washington avenue, has as her guest Mrs. Frank Flanner of Blackwell, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Egbert C. Reese is visiting at the home of her son, Dr. Charles N. Reese, 727 Forest avenue.
Earl Gamron, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira C. Gamron of Sixth street, is seriously ill with pneumonia.
Miss Gertrude Ketchum, 711 Park avenue, has been confined to her bed this week on account of illness.
Mrs. R. V. Van Pelt of Cleveland is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Ira M. Hatch, 915 Greenleaf avenue.
Miss Maude Twining of the Evanston hospital, was the guest of Mrs. A.[Albert P.] Snite 112 Sixth street last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Baker, 507 Lake avenue, returned the first of thisi week from French Lick Springs, Indiana.
Mr. Frank Warne of New York City, spent Sunday as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Burnett, 623 Central avenue.
Mrs. Frank Butler of Denver, Colorado, is spending the winter with her daughter, Mrs. Albert P. Snite, 112 Sixth street.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. [illegible] Michigan avenue, are touring througout the West indies, returning [illegible] Palm Beach, Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brethold, [illegible] Central avenue, had as their guest this week their daughter, Mrs. O. H. Schulze of Chicago.
Mrs. George Mason, 1025 Thirteenth street, is visiting in Monmouth, Illinois. She expects to extend her visit over the Christmas holidays.
Announcement is made of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Goode, 233 Woodbine avenue, on Thursday, November 5.
Mr. B. F. Bilsland, 1228 Elmwood avenue, is a member of a party of men who are spending this week in the woods in norothern Michigan, deer hunting.
Mr. Donald Gallie, 1115 Elmwood avenue, and his friend, Mr. Richard Dewey of Rockford, Illinois, attended the home-coming at Illinois University last weekend.
Mr. Stanley Braden has returned to her home in Norfolk, Nebraska, after spending several weeks as the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Gordon Culver, 519 Gregory avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. John D. Couffer, 903 Lake avenue, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scheidenhelm, 804 Forest avenue, atttended the Chicago-Illinois game at Champaign, Illinois last Saturday.
Mrs. N. C. Thayer, Jr., 610 Central avenue, is visiting at the home of her parents in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. During her absence, Mr. Thayer's parents are making their home with him.
Rev. and Mrs. Thomas Keene Gale and several others of the Methodist congregation attended the annual banquet of the Methodist social convention at the Auditorium hotel, Tuesday evening.
After spending several weeks as the guest of his daughter, Mrs. A. E. Lemkey, 720 Linden avenue, Mr. John MacAdams of Vancouver, B. C. [British Columbia], has gone to southern California to spend the winter.
Mrs. J. J. Sidall, Jr., 1018 [unclear] Lake avenue, is spending the week visiting in Mansfield, Ohio. On her return her mother, Mrs. B. F. Blymyer, who has been visiting there for some time, will accompany her.
Dr. and Mrs. Milton R. Barker, 707 Washington avenue, left Tuesday evening for Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Barker will return today, but Mrs. Barker will go on to Pasadena, California, where she will spend the winter.
Mrs. D. M. Gallie, 1113 Elmwood avenue, and Mrs. B. Frank Brown, 606 Washington avenue, returned Saturday from Springfield, Illinois, where they attended the annual convention of the Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Reed Barker, 707 Washington avenue, had, as their guests last week, Miss Helen M. [illegible] of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. David W. Reed and Mrs. F. L. Beeman of Waukon, Iowa, and Miss Bertha Beeman of Northwestern University.
The Rev. L. O. Baird, 57 Crescent place, officiated at the wedding of Miss Mabel Velletta Greene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Henry Greene of Chicago and Mr. Lewis E. Myers of Valparaiso, Indiana, which was solemnized last Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Huntsman, [unclear] Ninth street, have had as their guests Mrs. Huntsman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Haskins Smith of New York City. Mr. Smith returned to New York Tuesday evening, but Mrs. Smith will remain here for some time.- Featured Link
