- Editor comments on various topics of the day. Editor expresses surprise that there are only 357,598 people in the country with incomes over $2,500, yet there are 1,300,000 automobiles in use. He wonders how people can afford them; The Judge presiding over the Boys' Court declares the chief cause of juvenile delinquency is unemployment; Discusses the cost of living could be better controlled with another coin, the 1/2 nickel; Why has Geraldine Farrar forsaken the Opera and gon into making movies? The Editor feels money is certainly behind the move, but Farrar may also be using films to make her talents more broadly known; A Mother's Pension law would be an excellent way to keep homes from being broken up and the children scattered to institutions.
